Convert the rest to semi precious to save room and for furniture. You’ll never need 400 in one go, unless you are bulk crafting.

Woods: Up to you, but more than 100, less than 400of each is popular.

Bugs: Sell all - only commons are ever requested.

Fish bones: Keep a small stack if you have space, for when tools break.

For the DLC you need to keep 4 legendary fish. Common and uncommon are easy to find for quests and only requested in small numbers.

Fish: Pick one rare and Legendary fish to keep a stack of (you only need 3 legendary for a quest).
